Emergency Relining Project

Abtrex Industries was contacted for an emergency eight day relining project. We mobilized our rapid response team and completed the project due date by two days.

Our rubber lining work exceeded all adhesion and hardness requirements.

On-site Strip and Re-line of Two Reactor Tanks

Abtrex Industries was called in to inspect several vessels. Our findings led to some emergency on-site repairs.

Our team completed an on-site stripping and re-lining of two reactor tanks to ISO 9001:2015/ASTM quality standards.

Chemical Industry Products

Hydrocholoric Acid (HCI Tanks)
A vessel used to store hydrochloric (muriatic) acid which is a strong highly corrosive acid which can present storage challenges.

Sodium Hypochlorite (NaCIO) Tanks
Vessel designed to store Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach when dissolved in water), a strong oxidizer widely used to chlorinate or disinfect waste water and to control bacteria formation.

Sulfuric Acid (H2S04) Tanks
A vessel used to store sulfuric acid which is corrosive to metals and tissue. The acid is used to make fertilizers and other chemicals among many other uses.

Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) Tanks
Storage vessel for a strong acid used in the metal pickling process.

Natural Rubber-Lined Tanks
Liners used to protect mill grinding equipment by reducing the friction on the rotating cylinder equipment.

Sodium Hydroxide Tanks
A vessel used to store sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda or lye.

Synthetic Rubber-Lined Tanks
Vessels lined with any of various products that resemble natural rubber in physical property and ability to be vulcanized. Synthetic is superior for some applications and inferior for others.

Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) Tanks
A vessel used to store Ferric Chloride which is used in many industrial and wastewater treatment plants as a sludge dewatering agent.

Nitric Acid Tanks (HNO3) Tanks
Storage vessel for Nitric acid which is a corrosive acid primarily used for the production of fertilizers.

Caustic Storage Tanks
Storage vessels for a myriad of substances which are defined as being able to burn or corrode organic tissue by chemical action.
