Abtrex Industries has a broad range of capabilities including turnkey steel fabrications and lining repairs. Our AWS certified welders and emergency response teams get the job done right the first time.
Single Piece, Fiberglass Cells
Abtrex Industries custom designed fiberglass cells using very large single piece molds (8′x5′x9′).
These cells are more than a decade old and still in service.
Abrasion & Corrosion Resistant Products
Anodizing Tanks
A tub or vessel where an electrochemical process to convert a metal suface into a corrosion resistant anodic oxide finish.
Chrome Plating Tanks
A tank where chrome is plated to steel through the electroplating process using a highly concentrated chromic acid.
Nickel Plating Tanks
A vessel used to electroplate metal or other conducting surface with Nickel by an electrochemical process.
Electrolytic Galvanizing Tanks
A process vessel used to apply thin coatings to a metal or finished product to protect from corrosion. The process is also called electrogalvanizing or galvanizing.
Ion Exchange Vessels
Cylindrical tanks used in the process of maintaining the pH and purity of water by removing undesirable ions from a liquid and replacing them with acceptable ions from a solid or resin. Filters or screens are located at the top and bottom of the tank to retain the resin.
Dual Laminate Tanks
A vessel lined with a second layer made out of a material that is different from the original structure material.
Over-the-Road Tank Trailers
A tank that is hauled by a semi and is used to haul a myriad of liquids.
Zinc Plating Tanks
A tank used in the process of covering substrate metals with a layer of zinc to increase corrosion control.
Acid Storage Tanks
Tanks used to store a myriad of different types of acid.
Polypropylene Tanks
A tank made out of thermoplastic polymer which is rugged and resistant to many chemical solvents and acids.
Copper Plating Tanks
A vessel where copper sulphate is dissolved in diluted sulfuric acid. A metal piece placed into the solution becomes layered with copper from the solution by applying a direct current to the solution.
Flotation Cells
A processing vessel used to separate minerals from slurry typically by adding a surfactant or chemicals and aerating the mixture to form bubbles. The desired minerals attach to the bubbles and rise to the top forming a froth, which is removed from the cell and produces a concentrate of the desired mineral.
Water Treatment Tanks
Vessels used to remove contaminants and bacteria from water.
